Mainstream secondary refined lead supplies in east and north China were at a discount of 50-0 yuan/mt against the SMM #1 lead average price, while discounts exceeded 100 yuan/mt in Guangxi, Hunan, and nearby areas. The mainstream tax-excluded prices ranged from 15,750 to 15,850 yuan/mt. Lead prices fluctuated at highs, and downstream battery producers were cautious in purchasing. Additionally, due to the relatively small price spread between primary lead and secondary lead, secondary refined lead had no advantage in transactions. Suppliers of refined lead reported sluggish sales today.
